How our NBA picks are made
Our NBA work starts from the same place as every sport on this site: years of real prices, every game graded at the number that was actually available, and nothing published unless it held up across seasons it was not fitted on. Most of what we tested did not survive that, and it is not here. What is here earned its place on the record.
The preseason is where the NBA season starts for us. Exhibition games are priced by the same market that prices the regular season, and it does not always price them well. Each pick shows the selection and the line, and is graded from the final score.
Why trust an NBA pick from us
Most picks services show you winning screenshots and quietly delete the misses. We do the opposite: every NBA pick is timestamped and hashed to a public ledger before it plays, then settled in the open. Change any past result and the hash chain visibly breaks - the database won't even allow it. That verifiable record is the only thing we're asking you to judge us on.

Are your NBA picks free?
Creating an account is free, and every settled NBA pick stays on the public ledger for anyone to check. The NBA picks still to play are on the ledger plan, $50 a month for the sport; see the plans page.
When are NBA picks posted?
Most NBA picks publish on the morning of the game, at the number available then. A few are made at halftime on the full-game total, and those publish at the break, before the second half plays. Every one is timestamped to the public ledger before the part it calls is played.
Do you cover the NBA preseason?
Yes. Exhibition games are priced differently from the regular season and our NBA picks start with the preseason in October.
Which NBA markets do you cover?
