PeoplesPicks is operated by Global Signature LLC. "We" and "us" below mean Global Signature LLC.
What we collect
An email address or phone number (to sign you in with one-time codes, or via Google sign-in), the username you choose, and basic usage data needed to run the service. That's it - no payment details are collected at signup.
How it's used
To operate your account and improve the product. We don't sell personal data. Authentication and data storage are handled by our infrastructure provider (Supabase); sign-in with Google is subject to Google's own terms.
Text and messaging alerts
Text alerts are sent by Global Signature LLC, trading as PeoplesPicks. Giving a mobile number is optional and is never a condition of registering or of using the service - you are not asked for one when you sign up.
If you give us a mobile number and tick the consent box in your account settings, we use that number only to send the alerts you chose. Each channel - email, SMS, WhatsApp and Telegram - is a separate switch, and nothing is sent on a channel you have not turned on. Alerts tell you a new sports or weather prediction has published. How often you hear from us depends on how many predictions publish, which is typically a few times a week. Message and data rates may apply. We record when you consented and the exact wording you were shown, so we can evidence it if asked.
Mobile information and consent for text messaging will not be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Reply STOP to any message to stop them, or HELP for help. You can also turn any channel off at any time in your account settings.
Referral links
If you arrive on an affiliate's link, your browser stores that referral code locally for up to 60 days so the affiliate is credited if you sign up later. It holds the code and the date, no personal details, and clearing your browser data removes it.
The public ledger
Picks and results on the ledger are public by design. Your personal details are never part of ledger entries.
Your choices
You can change your username any time, and request account deletion by contacting us. Deleting your account removes your profile; it does not alter the public ledger, which contains no personal data.
