Thursday, October 15, 2026, carries a large card: 62 college football games, 14 NFL games and 59 FCS games, with a representative listing of each below. Our only call posted to the public ledger so far is in baseball: Under 7.5, Milwaukee Brewers @ Los Angeles Dodgers. That pick is recorded with its line and will settle on the ledger regardless of outcome. Football calls have not been posted as of this writing. Anything added later will appear on the ledger with its timestamp, and it will be graded there as a win or a loss.
College Football
Three games have verified notes worth weighing.
East Carolina Pirates @ UAB Blazers. East Carolina arrives on a three-game winning streak and is a 4.5-point favorite. UAB lost 38-13 at Memphis last week. UAB quarterback Ryder Burton has 4 touchdown passes and 5 interceptions. Starting center Adam Lepkowski is listed as very questionable. A center absence affects snap exchange, protection calls and interior run blocking. For a quarterback whose interceptions already outnumber his touchdowns, added pressure is a real variable. A 4.5-point number is still narrow enough that a single turnover swing can decide the result against the spread.
Colorado State Rams @ Texas State Bobcats. Colorado State quarterback Hejny will not start because of a hamstring injury, and Texas State is favored by 14.5. A double-digit spread built partly on a backup quarterback raises a fair question: how much of the quarterback change was already priced in before the news was confirmed? Large spreads also carry late-game variance, including garbage-time scores and conservative play-calling with a lead.
Georgia Southern Eagles @ Old Dominion Monarchs. Georgia Southern is a 3.5-point favorite. The injury report lists running back Mbadinga and receiver Jeremiah Ware as out. A key number like 3.5 means small adjustments to a skill-position rotation can matter.
The rest of the listed card includes several high-profile conference games: Ohio State @ Indiana, Florida @ Texas, Washington @ Purdue, Mississippi State @ LSU, Memphis @ Tulane and Kansas @ Kansas State. We found no verified notes for these games today, so we make no claims about them here.
NFL
Seattle Seahawks @ Denver Broncos, 8:15 p.m. ET on Amazon Prime Video. Both teams are 3-2. The spread is 2.5 points and the total is 40.5. Seattle, the defending Super Bowl champion, lost to the 49ers on Sunday. Denver beat the Chargers last week.
The central matchup is Seattle's passing game against a depleted Denver secondary:
- Seattle's passing game. Sam Darnold has 7 touchdown passes and 5 interceptions over his last three games. Jaxon Smith-Njigba leads the NFL in receiving yards and receiving touchdowns. He carries no game status, so his ankle is not expected to keep him out. - Denver's secondary. Cornerback Patrick Surtain II (ankle) and safety Talanoa Hufanga (ankle) are out. Cornerback Riley Moss (ribs) is questionable. - Seattle's absences. Zach Charbonnet, Chazz Surratt and Drake Thomas are ruled out. Tyrice Knight takes over for Thomas at inside linebacker.
On the injury list alone, Denver has the larger problem in this game. That does not settle the read. A 40.5 total signals that the market expects a low-scoring game. Darnold's 5 interceptions in three games also count against the idea that Denver's injuries simply turn into Seattle points. The question for the model is whether the downgrade at cornerback and safety is fully reflected in both the spread and the total. If a call is posted, it will appear on the ledger with its line.
The remaining 13 NFL games include Chargers @ Chiefs, Cowboys @ Packers, Commanders @ 49ers, Ravens @ Browns and Steelers @ Buccaneers. We have no verified notes on these games to share today.
FCS
We could not verify any FCS news for today, so we are not attaching storylines to these games. The listed card includes South Dakota State @ North Dakota, McNeese @ Northwestern State, Lehigh @ Cornell, Holy Cross @ Harvard, Brown @ Princeton and VMI @ Wofford. Two games, The Citadel @ Texas A&M and Charleston Southern @ Clemson, appear in both the FCS and FBS listings. Each is a cross-division matchup and is counted once. With no verified injury or lineup information, any model read here carries wider uncertainty, and we say so rather than fill the gap.
How the model reads a card
A disciplined model looks at several inputs on every game:
- Efficiency. Per-play performance rather than final scores. - Quarterback status. The quarterback is the largest single adjustment in football. - Line injuries. Offensive line injuries, especially at center. - Secondary depth. How deep a defense is at cornerback and safety. - Turnover regression. Turnover rates tend to move back toward average over time. - Pace and total. How fast a game is likely to be played, and how that fits the posted total. - The number versus the estimate. The model publishes a pick only when its probability clears the market number by a set margin.
When no edge clears that margin, the correct output is no pick. Every published pick settles on our public, tamper-evident ledger, and losses are recorded exactly as wins are.
